yeah you get gems from rewards+missions, structure decks, and specific cards

VERY WORTH, there is a quest line for solo missions and you get huge amount of gems and crafting materials from there (lots of UR and SR crafting material!=)

Can someone help me? How can I use my own deck in the solo mission. Everytime I start one it always chooses the starter deck instead of the one I built.

You gotta click the mission then for ones that let you use your own deck to toggle over to the "my deck" side then click where it shows your deck and change it to the one you wanna use and confirm. Hopefully this helps a little!

I have a question about this solo missions. Does choosing a path when 2 are presented block the other one? Or can i choose both gems and cosmetics?

No, you can do both and it won't be marked fully completed until you do.
