The problem is it's mostly bots using them, and the bots are programmed to scoop if they brick, lose the coinflip, or go against a deck with a 13 or less card extra deck. That's why it seems like a much bigger problem than it should be - you only see the deck when it works against you.
So just by using a deck that wants to go first I have a 50% of insta winning against the bots? And even if they win the coin toss there is still a good chance I can win by doing nothing if they don't draw the cards they need turn 1?
On average they are going to lose most games, Master Duel has limited rewards for playing multiple games per day meaning you can't "farm" gems with the bot. What's the point of the bot then?
Edit: typos.
You can't magically obtain extra 850-900 daily gems just because you are using a bot, the only way it could work is IF you sell the bot and buy the 1000 gems with money. In this way the bot is "making" 1000 gems.
That's pretty bad logic, I'll tell you why. I will firstly admit: You're right about it being objectively worse, it is. More options and utility is better than not having it. THAT SAID! I would hazard a guess that people realistically only use 4-5 of the same cards of their extra deck, and those contingencies are quite abnormal to come up. I dare say the most frequent use of having a full extra deck is to make use of pot of extravagance. I do not know of, nor seen, anyone who constantly is using all 15 extra deck cards in most of their games. Or even half their games.
Is it worse to have less? objectively, sure. In practice? Extremely doubtful. Most people usually wind up filling up extra copies of cards they rather have dupes of, its extremely rare to find someone that's using a literal 1 of each utility extra deck. The ones I do see aren't actually using their extra deck, its just full for the sake of aforementioned cards and that benefit from messing with other people's extra decks.

Woke up to see Dzeefs video this morning, then logged on and people still White Knighting D.D Dynamite.
So it's only me having and issue and think the 13 extra thing is not right?
Wait till more Yu-Gi-Tuber's come out and complain about this deck, and I 100% bet the White Knights here will act like this thread never happened....
Not argument it is now FACT, the D.D Dynamite deck is an issue, so please stop White Knighting ffs....
you keep using the phrase "white knighting". I don't think it means what you think it means.
and for the record, nobody is trying to protect it (I assume that's what you think you mean by that), or justify it, we're just saying...its not a big deal. You are having a big deal with it. I'm not sorry that you can't deal with some thing the way you want it to be handled, there isn't a big quick fix that happens from whining here. You're honestly whining in the wrong place, instead of here where NOTHING is going to happen, go to konami's support, it literally has a link in game for it. THAT is where you can try to get things changed. For everyone else, since there is no fast fix, we make do with what works. Again, not sorry that isn't good enough for you.
we do indeed need an emergency ban list to adresse this issue
Just surrender or use 13 extra deck cards, why making it difficult
