SP Deck challenge loaners. Seriously!?
My god, these loaner decks su%ks. How did these even get past QA. I swear, these decks are practically unplayable, especially the dark magician loaners.

It's funny, you think they actually test loaner decks?

I'm less confused with the awfulness of the loaner decks and more confused with the insane power gap between the loaner and the enemy decks.

That's probably the bigger problem than the loaners just sucking imo.
well i found the dark magician fight against athemu (last duel) much more difficult than the ones before. it was even fun to defeat the npcs within 4 rounds, so good were the own decks

I actually decided to try each of the last couple duels using my versions of their deck, So Red-eyes vs red-eyes, Blue-eyes vs Blue-eyes and Dark Magician vs Dark Magician.
The loaners are still bad. I guess none of the employees truly test by themselves. The only think they test is player patience.

It was fun to play with them. Simple and well balanced decks. I would not say they are that bad. Loaner decks are actually pretty good if you know how to play with them

All these decks are massive sh.it compared to the enemy decks. I'm leaving this game aside, it's not fun at all. The kunami is doing a lousy job.

BLS vs harpies pissed me off the most I think. "Lets have one deck that will brick 90% of the time and has no searches go vs a deck that has all the monsters named the same and the deck only needs monsters of that name to go into big combo loops".

The loaner decks you've given are piles of bricks meant to recreate moments from the anime more than anything else. It would be fine if also the AI had decks built with the same mindset, but it has functional if not even competent decks, like the Dark Magician and Harpie ones.

I'm sure they test them enough to make sure they win because I've had no issue at all with SP campaign, kinda always be sounding like a duelist skill problem up in here.

The silliest loaner so far was against the Dark machine Barrel Dragon deck. So let me get this straight:

You are fighting Barrel Dragons. Barrel Dragons have a boss monster that really wants you to destroy their monsters so they can special summon it.

What does the loaner deck got for removal? Effing Time Wizard. 50/50 of that working and giving your opponent a boss monster ROFL.

Meanwhile your best boss monster (that takes a minor miracle to set up) is a 3500 ATK vanilla. Barrel Dragons have plenty of answers for it. I see this challenge as impossible lest the AI bricks super hard and you (somehow) don't.

My friend, I do not think Gadgets and Level monsters have any real synergy with each other, and the cards do not even help carry the other's weaknesses.

I do not think the original Gaia and Curse of Dragon is needed in a Gaia deck when we got so many better replacements and options in today's game without completely going off the rails imo.

To continue on, why IS the OG Gaia and Curse of Dragon in the Magnet warrior deck? Cause Yugi used it?????? Why not use the upgraded versions, like they did for the Magicians of Light and Darkness deck against Toons?

I also completed these a the day they came out and there's so much weirdness with the choices.

There are definitely issues with this challenge lol.

It feels like the loaner decks and the AI decks are designed by two different people. One knows what s/he's doing and the other doesn't.

there's literally no problem with loaner decks, adn you can 100% see what cards your opponent has by pressing confirm opponent deck before you start so you can play and strategize with the archetypes given to you.

I know you can check the decks, but that makes no difference. Knowing what your dealing with doesn't make your brick deck any less bricky. There isn't much of a strategy when your archetypes have no synergy.
