AIs didnt summon once throughout the whole 10 turns. I see him discarding cards from his hand due to card limit....

I wouldn't be against this.

I don't know if it is a problem with the Marketing department, or if the P.R department is just hellbent on making the rest of the company look as terrible as possible, but most of these starter and structure decks r TERRIBLE. Tbf with the structure decks they r meant as starting points to then build a deck around, which is what I did.(I abandoned my starter deck, it was too s***)

But just take a look at the Pendulum Structure deck. A random hodgepodge of miscellaneous Magician/Performapal/Odd-Eyes cards just mixed in with no game plan, strategy, or win condition in sight.

They need better decks for newer players who don't know how to build a good deck. Heck I can build better decks then these pieces of crap, and I'm far and I mean FAR from the best at this game.
At first I was thinking "oh come on, they aren't TOO bad"
Then I played the new SP challenge gate. God these things are absolute trash tier.

Most of the time when people complain about loaner decks being bad they're just being crybabies, but damn, the Joey, BLS and Yugi duels against real decks were hard.

"Let's see, my opponent gets a complete toon/heavy metal board EVERY SINGLE DUEL. And I get...a brick full of Summoned Skull, a useless ritual monster that shouldn't be here, and Gaia. Nothing that works together whatsoever."

Obligatory reminder that Konami has never looked at this board and never will. The fact that people freely mention the unofficial simulators that would have been deleted by a C&D by now if Konami knew about them is proof of that.
Given that YGOPRO, Dueling Book, and Dueling Nexus have been around for several years and were major platforms for most Yugioh players in that time, I don't think the forums have anything to do with that, otherwise they would have stopped existing years ago.

And the last time any of them got mentioned where Konami could definitely hear, it got shut down shortly after.

No the real option is to actually MAKE a decent deck.

They don't need to be absurd meta-tier decks, but they need to not be built so heavily around a (usually nonsensical) theme that they have no alternative paths to victory.

They also need to make sure that the enemy deck isn't designed to fundamentally counteract what you're doing, it should have countermeasures, but not *$&# like Effect Veiler against a Consteller/Gem-Knight hybrid that has a dead turn if it can't get any normal summon effects off.
Exactly. The power difference is just absurd. The opponent has not only multiple winning conditions, but also multiple ways to counter or recover from what little the loaner deck can do. Meanwhile the loaner deck has like one (maybe two) winning conditions that cannot be consistently met and little to no form of protection, disruption or recovery from the AI fEFFking up your plays. This is terrible deck design for both beginners AND veterans alike. This is not how you use nostalgia to win older players back over. It's how you scare them off. They're pretty much ensuring that players are not gonna have any fun playing those decks.

Why? The loaner decks are good.

Of course YOU would say that. What else can be expected from you...?

Guys, quick warning: Don't take this guy seriously. He's tried to convince people that drawing the right cards when you need them is a matter of "skill".

I'd like to know what incredibly specific areas Konami do listen to then, given that again, all of these official simulators have been mentioned literally everywhere for years, including Youtube and Twitter. The one that got shut down, Dueling Network, specifically stated it wasn't Konami, and even was able to go back up as Duelingbook. So...I genuinely don't think Konami cares. Or if they truly aren't listening like you said, then that means they're not listening anywhere but incredibly niche areas, which means there's nothing to worry about to begin with,
