That isn't an hard protection to play around.
There are LOTS of cards that say "target one card and send it to the graveyard". "it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects" is not as tricky as some other monsters who are immune to all card effects. Even monsters that are immune to all card effects can be tributed by Kaiju and the like.
Not every deck will have Kaiju, but for Crooked Cook, they should at least have some piercing option in their extra deck or some way to work around semi-common cards.
Any card that returns a monster to hand will work for your case.
Any card that sends a monster to the graveyard without using the word "destroy" in the description will also work.
There's over a hundred cards that can get rid of a card on the field that says "it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects", so I don't have an easy way to give you a comprehensive list.
What type of deck are you running? That might make it easier to get recommendations on specific cards that will work well with your deck.
I literally mentioned zeus, you can use any fusions that work with your deck+ super poly for problem cards, there is trishula and Brionca if you're into synchros, 101 to go along with zeus
you're into xyz, there is tons of links I am not even sure where to begin. For main deck options there is things like drowning mirror force, compulsory evacuation device, etc. keep in mind "destroyed" is very nuanced. Send, banish, return, etc. all get around it.
Finally, the thing nobody else mentioned: "but you still take the damage!" Winning the duel will remove all their cards, and protection effects can only go so far to prevent that.
