Skystrikers and Zoodiacs ruined yugioh

The heck, don't hate on my Sky Strikers, its strength is also its weakness: sure, we only need 1 monster for our Link plays, but it's also our ONLY link play. We're not allowed to have any monsters in Main Monster Zone without locking ourselves out of nearly every single Sky Striker support card. Called by the Grave a Raye? I just got screwed over super hard, you can probably otk me now.

Not to mention Strikers hit like wet noodles and you can run them over with a Luster Dragon. Thank god for link climbing, otherwise we would never be able to close out matches.

Strikers aren't even super meta though. I think they do decently enough in Plat (to date, I have only played against a single Sky Striker deck, I've run into Cyber Dragons, Code Talker, and Starter decks more often, for example), but at the very least they don't even register on MDM tier lists.

Eldlich i havent seen someone actually play eldlich. they only play trap lockdown and after that they either surrender or lock me down. your calling nurse burn a Darklord deck basically

I've only seen two skystrikers in 80 hours, one bricked halfway through a combo and the other won but took like 9 turns to do it after we both bricked and they drew the answer first, they're fine.

Depends on the Zoo, yeah they get some nasty things and a high material zeus out but they're also likely to brick themselves on something if you sneeze in their direction.

ngl sky strikers kind of suck. I may be biased because my harpie deck just fundamentally has an advantage against sky strikers, but my only problem with them is that they are annoying and keep coming back since no form of removal I have will permanently get rid of them. The deck easily has enough backrow hate to turn them into a joke though, and combined with just one hysteric sign or feather storm, they basically just insta-scoop. Pretty sure I've had more sky striker opponents outright surrender than actually beat me

imo the worst decks, regardless of archetype, are the ones that allow for too much recycling in one turn. It feels really weak when the discard and banish piles both feel absolutely meaningless to someone's deck as they freely throw half their deck away, play two cards, bring them all back into the deck, play a card to bring those cards back, then do it all again on repeat until they've fielded every big monster in their deck. Then if you beat, defeat, or counter their ♥♥♥♥ they just do it all again next turn unless you've got an OTK.
