How to counter Megalith? (Tier 0 deck in N/R event)
This deck is like a stronger version Tier 0 Drytron deck in the N/R event netdecked by 99% of Plat 1 players and dominating this event. How do you even counter such a Tier 0 invincible deck that is also extremely hard and time-consuming to learn so don't recommend me to "if you can't beat em' join them".

people really need to stop using the term "tier 0" incorrectly, its extremely obnoxious. And no, megalith isn't tier 0 in this event anymore than dryton is in regular. Why? because tier 0 means NO OTHER DECK has a remote chance of winning, you cannot win if you play ANYTHING else. people wouldn't be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about 15 different decks if dryton were tier 0, and people wouldn't be complaining about the other 2 decks that seem to be most common

They specialize in special summoning, stop that and you win. Anything that banishes the ritual monsters in the graveyard or prevents movement is good. Any backremoval is really helpful since most of our spells/traps are continuous. Break that engine and you win. Most Megalith players play 1 spell field to recycle their cards. Also negating Phul's effect when its about to special summon from the deck is good. Maybe even negating Bethor would help. Forbidden chalice, torrential tribute, etc. You don't want them to get the first turn too.

Been a Megalith/Drytron combo main in ranked and thats all the advice I can really give.

I believe Megalith fits that description perfectly lol. You don't have any arguments against the fact that Plat 1 is 99% Megalith players.

It's also Metalfoes and Yosenju in that 99%

EDIT: Why did I say Megalith again lmao

All those decks are terrible and take forever to play against. We need self-OTK burn back that was way more fun than this snoozefest event. Actually the worse format of YGO I've ever played in.

One: They're top tier decks in this format but okay
Two: Self-OTK never left and everyone's been saying that all along.

Smooth brain ignores the fact that they're still using tier 0 incorrect.

Funny, how you expect to beat it if you don't study how the combo works.
You deserve to lose.

Dragon Rulers were the only true Tier 0 deck

They never were because of Spellbooks tho.

You obviously never played during teledad. and dragon rulers was NOT tier 0. Why? Because spellbooks were able to compete with it. Please. Know. What. Tier. 0. Means. OP still doesn't get it and thinks "hur dur, you said only deck playable, but there is only two other decks people play, so it qualifies"

You would be the only one to consider it as such.

well i have had zero problems against megalith players so far. either they gave up or i reduced their lifepoints to 0.

so tier 0 never tier 1 never in life

timelords is much more exhausting because of that

Smooth brain refuses to defend his position therefore the deck is Tier 0 due to hard data proving it. 99% representation and the only viable strategy in the event.
