Auto Surrender Hack/Exploit
I was reading reddit and there is a lot of post about people auto surrendering/being forced to surrender, aparently this is done with a hack/exploit and used to happend a lot in Duel links until Konami did something, how big the problem is? is something you experience often in the higher rank or the problem is being exaggerated?

I’ve never seen it and I play this game a lot. Maybe these people are just disconnecting and have bad internet?

I have seen some videos (most of them in reddit) no internet problems appear and also the message is that the player surrendered.

No, it's not bad internet, if you disconnect the game will tell you that you disconnect. The auto surrender op is referring to is a thing, you can google it and test it for yourself.

As for how common? Not that common, and it should not be a problem in low elo since the cheaters are using it to climb, since even though I know botting is possible to farm gems, I doubt it is prevalent yet. The bigger issue is the "reveal enemy card" hack since you would not know if your opponent is hacking or not. More people would probably just use this because it is undetectable.

While I have seen my share of connection issues I did get an auto surrender at the start of the duel when all I did was try to set a card.

Heres someone's recording of the expoit. Its very clear they're cheating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztSCcWuZ3ds

Just so everyone knows: This exploit still exists today and when I recently contacted Konami support, including the video, they replied 'We are not here to teach you how to play'.

Konami cares absolutely zero about exploiters and I have never once seen an instance of a cheater censured.

So all the times I surrendered, it was not me.. It was my opponent using hacks and exploits to force me to surrender? Does that mean I do not suck and that my opponents are just cheating?

I've played this game for over 700 hours since release on various platforms ander never encountered this problem, so it definitely isn't a big problem.

Don't know, never happened to me so far.
That's exactly what happened to me! Luckily, I was able to compete with screens, and I was also able to copy my opponent's deck! This has happened to me a total of three times, and I've only been playing the game for 700+ hours. There are rude players everywhere.

I had a game that gave me ''failed to connect to server'' once. Went to match history and game replay was not availabe.

This has happend before in the past vs a Lab deck. Game was stuck in end phase for over a min then I got black screen with same message and was given a lose with no replay available.

Same against a Alba Zoa deck. He went first and did his stuff. Then game was stuck in main phase for a while until it black screened me again.

If it is a cheater then I wonder how many games have been robbed from someone who need to cheat just to win. If its a bug then its still bad cause your opponent get handed a free win.

I have surrendered many times. I have never been forced to surrender by unknown means. 350+ hours played.

Not saying it doesn't happen, but no its not a big issue.
