Why is Pot of Greed banned?

No cost/downside.

Everyone would run as many copies as are allowed.

It Instantly gives +1 in card advantage to the user for absolutely no cost or downsides. Too easy to use, literally every Deck in the game would be improved by adding this card to it. Forcing all competent Decks to run this card to avoid being at a disadvantage would be unfair.

If they ever allowed it, make it so it's a one time use for 5 draws and allow only 1 to be in a deck but you can use monster reborn on it.

Even as a noob, it's obvious Pot of Greed is a broken card with how the mechanics of Yugioh works. Even more-so today then when it was introduced.

Or...Just use one of it's many retrains that have costs and downsides that are more fair.

Pot of greed unbanned is an immediate 3 of +1 with 0 cost or downside to every single deck.
