Can not activate trap card during opponent draw and opponent standby phase

Is there a new rule regarding trap cards?
Currently I can not activate them on opponent draw and standby phase.
Do I miss some game setting to be able to do it?

Change the auto in the bottom right corner of the screen into on. That lets you activate cards at ANY possible moment they could be used. Such as using Maxx C when your opponent draws.

How do you activate them manually?
As far as I can tell there are no keyboard bindings and I see no activation button or animation trigger.

Interesting after 50 hours of play didn't realize this lol.

No idea if its even possible. I just flip the auto button to On and off when i feel like it so i can get prompted when its possible.

On prompts you ALL the time, too much even, but thats the only way i can see that lets you do it when you actually want.

You hold left click to do manual activation if your activation setting is set to Hold(3)
