Danger! Mothman! effect is bugged (?)

"You can reveal this card in your hand; your opponent randomly chooses 1 card from your entire hand, then you discard the chosen card. Then, if the discarded card was not "Danger! Mothman!", Special Summon 1 "Danger! Mothman!" from your hand, and if you do, draw 1 card. If this card is discarded: You can have both players draw 1 card, then both players discard 1 card. You can only use this effect of "Danger! Mothman!" once per turn."

First turn, i activated Mothman effect, revealed him for my opponent, he chose the wrong card, said card was discarded but i couldn't Special Summon Mothman into the field, then i could activate Mothman effect AGAIN in the same turn, and again my opponent chose the wrong card and Mothman wasn't summoned.

My opponent didn't used a negate nor anything at all, Mothman effect resolved normally except the part that he is summoned.

I saved the replay but i don't know how to share it, nor how to report this bug to Konami

Alas, if someone with better knowledge of the TCG or Master Duel in general could help me, maybe i understood the card wrong or it is indeed bugged.

You share the replay by going into your profile > replay > make public and giving people your ID
Before seeing it, I'm guessing either there was a card with an effect that restricts summons on the field (Winda, Summon Limit, Vanity's) or you locked yourself out of summoning anything other than a specific type/attribute/archetype of monster for the rest of the turn with something like Ashuna.

Not bugged. You were locked out of summons, which does not prevent you from using the effect of a Danger! monster.

Also not a bug: trying to Ash a Danger is completely useless.
