TWD Season 1 400 Days Death loop

i was playing as russell and peeked over the truck to see the sniper and then went back behind cover and it still killed me and now its just restarting the checkpoint right at me getting killed over and over but the character model is invisible, what the hell even is that man

Yeah, sadly, the auto-save implementation in Russel’s Story is just that bad, lmao. Your only viable option is to restart the whole episode :D

heres the thing im willing to but theres no reset option its just continue the episode and when it resumes it just instantly kills me and im in the death loop again

Here's another genius idea from the devs who worked on this edition: you have to replay Episode 5 in order to replay 400 Days :D.

But I remember someone saying that if you just restart Episode 5 and quit to the menu after the flashback, you should get the option to play 400 Days (the game will remember the choices you made on your first playthrough so you won't lose progress).
