How deaf-friendly is this game?
Hello all :)

Friends and I were discussing about TWD TV series and this game, and it got me interested in this game, but I was shown a picture of accessibility of season 2 of this game and it said "no audio cue subtitled" but then the friends told me that they don't recall anything that is very restricted to audio only, such as an event, or sequence, where it is audio only that wouldn't help deaf players to play this game, so I thought I'd come here and ask anyone who have played this game recently and can answer me if this game is deaf-friendly and any deaf gamers can play this game without issues?

Thank you!

Hey there! Yes, the game is deaf-friendly! I can confirm what your friends mentioned—there are no audio cues that hinder gameplay in any episode. There's just one tiny moment in Season 2, Episode 1 where some background sounds aren’t subtitled, but it doesn’t impact gameplay at all. It might add a little unnecessary tension, but that’s the only issue.

For more details, check out the accessibility reviews for Seasons 2 and 3 on Can I Play That? (a site specializing in game accessibility reviews). They noted that while Season 3 is completely barrier-free for players with auditory disabilities, Season 2 was rated as 'Thoroughly Accessible' (though they didn't specify details). Overall, the developers significantly improved inclusivity and accessibility with each season after Season 2. Hope this helps!

Hello my friend! No, I think this game can be played by a deaf person, because there is nothing important in it related to sound. The only thing that a deaf game might lack is music, which gives the game a special atmosphere. (I can't imagine how hard it is to be deaf, I hope you are happy in your own way!)

Thank you! It's OK, least I won't ever hear the creepy noise or atmosphere noise and I can just run through it without the fear because of the noises :D Thank you.
