Developer Commentary videos still/again not working.
None of the Developer Commentary videos are working in-game ("The game is having a problem communicating with the server (...)").

Googling it the issue is well-known although with the only response from Skybound being an irrelevant "check your internet" -- which I can assure you is fine -- and from e.g. here or the general internet that you can find them on YouTube. Yeah, scrounging around YouTube is not why I bought the "definitive series"; did so among other things due to advertised developer commentary.

It's quite bad that you guys aren't fixing this. Just release an update with those commentary videos and have them play locally if you can't be arsed to keep them up stably yourself.

Now seeing "Skybound" on a game means "Don't trust"...

Comment 2024-07-29; Skybound support actually got back to me and even though I really only left a "No" reply on one of those "Was this article useful" things with a bit of the things said above.

They are saying:
I completely understand how frustrating it must be to deal with shifting video locations and not having any alternative options for watching them. It’s certainly not the experience we want you to have.

Unfortunately, the team member who originally managed the Vimeo uploads is no longer with us, which has led to some delays. I assure you that our game management team is actively working on getting this resolved. At this moment, I don’t have a specific timeline for when the videos will be re-uploaded, but we’re doing everything we can to address the issue.
Sounds good. Let's see if it happens :)

Game controllers automatically disconnect partially after a certain amount of time, faces start moving weirdly like "The Amazing World of Gumball glitches" or Source games.

Anyways; not really a thread for general bugs/issues. It really sort of pisses me off that they to this day advertise "10+ hours of developer commentary" on the store page whereas that hasn't been true for seemingly years now. The game's still worth its (sale) price, don't get me wrong, but it's at this point simple false advertising -- which nobody is doing anything about.

As if hosting those videos elsewhere or simply distributing them alongside is such an enormous task...

One of the reasons I bought the definitive edition was for the commentary - I mean, I already own the original editions of them all (except Michonne).

I feel a little cheated.

Rightly. Don't know if you just bought it, but note that you can refund any purchase younger than two weeks that hasn't been running for more than two hours.

EDIT: The little ownership icon (mouse icon) disappeared from after MrJackDaw's name :)
