Game-Breaking Bug in Season 1 Episode 3

Hi, so I was playing in Season 1 Episode 3, (Right after the part where Lilly steals the RV) and I was playing the godawful puzzle to get the train started, I was following the steps for console 6, but due to some sort of game-breaking bug, I can't find the option to use Console 5 and I can't progress any further in the game. I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, How do I fix this issue?

I never encountered bug like this, but I had something very similar: I couldn't interact with console number 6 in any way. In my case simply restarting the checkpoint helped, so I'd start with that.

(Don't worry, no spoilers there; there's ONLY the puzzle in the video)

If that won't work (although I'm pretty sure it will) you can always restart the episode to overwrite the save and prevent the bug.

The last thing to do would be verifying the game files, but since you've already reinstalled the whole thing it seems pointless.

It's not a bug, look extra carefully how you place the buttons. Once again I did the mistake and placed them wrongly in the first panel, 3 years ago I did the same and was pulling my hair out.

Not sure why it happens, maybe it's the colours. Googling this and there is a lot of results.

It was fine in the original version.
