My choices and save data

Hello people, I just want to know if all my choices from season 1 and 2 will be imported into this game if I buy it. I'm planning to buy this on winter sale. I only need season 3 and 4, since I already have Michonne and season 1 DLC.

I doubt it, it's practically a revamped version of all the games put into one. I finished season 1 episode 1 earlier and all the others player choices were vastly different to what they used to be. My assumption would be that they're two different entities but I don't know that for definite, so don't quote me on that.

Wait a second. The individual titles don't always carry information and choices across campaigns as intended. The backend cloud storage is broken.

If seeing your choices carry across is important this Definitive Series edition would be the best option available. For someone like me who already owns each game separately that's not easy to accept but for someone starting earlier it is the be consistent play experience.

Nothing gets migrated over... I bought this for pretty much the same reason, owner/fan of 1st two seasons & never played rest of the seasons.

Right now there is no cloud saves, but imo that's the devs being lazy & hopefully see it added soonish...

If you try Googling around you might be able to just drop the save files from other games into this? Not sure try looking around online.

The save system is apparently just as broken for the definitive edition bundle. I can't finish the last episode of season 2. Got it on GOG too. I think there's some kind of a problem with the janky way they used the console port to then tie all the save games together with a bs one autosave slot only checkpoint system. There's like a hundred different files which seem to carry over different choices but I can't figure out what they are or where the game got bugged so I can't finish season 2 now.
