skill points
Hi i am planning my build on paper so i would like to understand/have confirmation about some starting paramater:

At lvl 1 you start with 4 skill points (2 specialized skills) and you get 2 skill points for level so 58, the total should be 62 right? Asking because by googling it say max 60 skill points at lvl 30.
If i get brilliant should be 64 (3x2 initial).
If i get easily distracted flaw at lvl 4 (or 3 with brilliant) i should have then 26/27 extra points, so the range of total points with this flaw should be 88 (without brilliant) to 91 with brilliant.
edit: flawed adds more skill points but must to accept whatever i get so i dont consider it for now, i undestand that easily distracted flaw would leave me without skills at 20 at all.
Is my math right? Thank you in advance.

The max skill level is always 20, regardless of specialization.

You get two points per level up. At most you can only get one skill, two points above your level.

Usually, you'll be investing equally into two skills or spreading them out, in which case the bonus specialization is purely cosmetic.

You'll only benefit in the early to mid-game with those extra skill points.

Ok i know that, i wanted to know the effective Total amount of skill points i will get at lvl 30 without flaws, to me should be 62, 64 with brilliance.
People are dismissing Brilliant, but it's really excellent. With only 64 skill points at max level, you can fully max 3 skills and still have 4 points to throw into random skills for perks.

For example, Medicine needs 4 to unlock both Caustic Weapon perks if you're doing a Science build.
64 at level 30

94 with the easily distracted --- BUT this caps your skills at 13-14 IF you take dumb and toss out 5 picks, otherwise its a lot lower (its retroactive - but forces you to only level up skills evenly... I guess if you got to 30, maxed 3 skills, then spread the other 4 around you could get this and then jump up a bunch more)

flawed adds more PERK points and you must accept flaws going forward (its retroactive on the perks points)

Going

Brilliant
Lucky
Dumb

Engineering
Lockpick
Observation

I don't see a TON of observation things on the first world even with really high observation skills... a couple times its a minor boon, sometimes its a quest though

Lockpick has a metric ton of stuff behind it, but I've not encountered MUCH that isn't great (a couple cards and some gear)

Engineering gives you a good amount of access, but much like lockpick isn't super

IF I do a new run I won't be going to 20 in skills, I'll take something a lot lower and have a lot more skills
If you do want more there are mods already for it. 3 points a level, 5, 10 etc.

Easily distracted is 18-19 per skill if you only level 5 of them, there is little point in going wide and putting points in all 7.

Also observation is kinda important because a significant amount of of keys are locked behind it and therefore will let you open lockboxes much faster.

Yep i notieced there are already mods for that, i would try to play vanilla for now although.
I have posted a thread with my build asking for suggestions if you want to put an eye on it.
