Now a NV remake/remaster, that's what I'd like to see. Preferably with all the famous cut content added back in. As long as Bethesda has nothing to do with it though.

Chris Avellone in turn went Freelance in 2015, and thus effectively hasn't had anything to do with Obsidian for a decade at this point. In turn he was subject to Libel in 2020, with him winning the associated lawsuit in March 2023 and them fully retracting their claims... but is still effectively out of work as a result of said Libel efforts.

As a result, he was out of AAA work for years. Nobody wanted to hire him. They destroyed his career.
Only recently he won lawsuits and started to recover. All accusations against him were false.
Left wing just tried to destroy him because of his non left wing views.
But I don't see why should he return to the company that basically betrayed him or at least did nothing to support him when he was under attack.
From what I heard, main brains behind Wayward Dreams are Ted Peterson and Julian LeFay, both veteran devs that worked on TES 1/2.
would be interesting, not sure if ex-Obsidian guys would mesh well with the Daggerfall guys.
I really hope they find a publisher without sacrificing creative control. There are too many PVP, MOBA, PUBG, CS, Hero-shooter clones as it is. Long immersive single player crpgs are far and few nowadays.
