What will Wo Long's endgame be?
The next two DLCs will bring two new difficulty tiers and maybe an abyss like mode . Will they add 6 star and 8 star gear? Or will they just add new types of leathers and steels that get us to +20 and +30?

Wo long may be a different game from the Nioh series but the TN fomula for Souls likes games is pretty much grind grind farm farm and super dungeon boss marathon.

I hope they surprise us with something different just like how they make Wo Long combat mechanics so much more different then the standard TN series.

Im hoping it's like in nioh2, with hundreds of floors of underworld/abyss at the last dlc and gears get super cooler too with legendary stuff.

I'm pretty sure the Underworld or Abyss will be waiting at the last DLC, except I suspect the plot or story will leave most of us confused or disinterested.

I skip cutscenes in all games, never care about the story or lore, then noobs make me watch them, which is fine heheh i understand they are interested in those. I just want action.

Underworld + depths.
Also gameplay mechanics need reworking because in Nioh 2 attackpower actually meant something. In this game you can spam martial arts and you won't put a dent on bosses hp. You land a few critical blows and spam a few spells and the boss is dead.
Attacks and martial arts should do decent enough damage for the "end game grind" to mean anything.

I uninstalled the game, and I don't care about reaching the new level cap, because all you need to do in this game, is parry then press Y. I farmed the Nuwa grace and is was underwhelming, nothing really changed. And i was tired of killing a poor monkey over and over again.
The first boss of the DLC is highly scripted and he does parry/evade any martial arts or heavy attack, so your only optimal option is to...parry/fatal strike.
I don't know if you manage to beat him otherwise, but that's essentially what wo long is.

In this context, what would be the end game? Tough question. I guess you'll parry more. Bosses will have variations in rhythm (samba, tango, ...) and you'll have the impression of playing Guitar Hero but with two buttons.

Wo Long's end game is the bankruptcy of Koei

If they add higher star gear Wo Long will end up having more loot tiers than Nioh, but if it lets me have more premium slots I guess I won't complain. I've been using the Quake Griffin Hammer and it has +47 fire enchant. I got a different piece of loot that has "spirit damage with fire AA". I can't use it because it wants me to put the gem where my fire enchant is.

They made a game with the premise 'what if Sekiro was a souls-like with stats and weapons'. You deflect like in Sekiro, but you get crits and rinse and repeat like in Elden Ring. In my opinion Stranger of Paradise did the posture break and get the killing blow a bit better in that once you got the posture break a basic enemy would be dead or boss would enter a new phase.

I still havent found a game as fun as nioh2 with supreme cooping system i have ever seen, but wo long comes very very close, i just at least hope for underworld type of dlc and crazy awesome legendary things.

Wo long does some good things with co-op. As a recruit being able to see the level your going into is good. As a summoner being able to just pop a tiger seal without going being at a save flag is good too. The only real improvement they need to do is add unrestricted co-op rooms that are not friend or password dependent and enable crossplay between the microsoft store and pc gamepass versions.

Yeah, Nioh and Wo Long coop system is way better than another over hyped game with multiple unwritten rules lol Not sure the reason Team Ninja restricted coop with paswords for Wo Long, except it doesn't stop invaders.

Crossplay is still far away imo because game platform owners are overly protective of their platforms. I bought another game on MS Store which Steam sells, and Steam doesn't allow me to link any content here.
