- JAPAN -
Rise of the Ronin - Set AFTER everything and everyone exciting.
Ghosts of Tsushima - Set far before everything and anyone exciting. Not a Samurai game.
Nioh - Non-historical Fantasy (and a Souls game at that)
Assassin's Creed: Shadows - Pseudo-historical Fantasy, questionable accuracy.
Sekiro - Complete work of fiction. (Another Souls game!)
Ghosts of Yotei - Set just after Sekigahara, because of course it had to be. Likely not a samurai game.
- CHINA -
Wo Long - Non-historical fantasy (Yet another f'n Souls game!)
Black Myth - Mythology
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers - Non-historical fantasy (Seriously? Another Souls game? WTF?)
I would kill for a proper historically accurate, respectful portrayals, proper weapons, and gag DLC free, games set in Feudal Japan and the Three Kingdoms era.
"The Steam® version of Rise of the Ronin will be available on March 11th, 2025"
Woo hoo!
