Take your time and take a break. This guy will prepare you for future bosses.
You may not know this visitors who respond to you recruitment have half Dragon Cure Pots and their Stats are lowered to almost your level.
Some of his attacks have longer recovery than others following a parry. For the ones with a short recovery, parry then tap regular attack. For the longer recovery ones, parry then tap spirit attack. Then before you land a fatal, buff with the health steal spell. You'll get back a big chunk of health, making your potions last longer.
He is absolutely ridiculous difficulty spike not only compared to how mission went but also previous bosses. His HP and spirit bars are way too large and some of his critical attacks have very tricky timing for deflects. He is, however, good indication of what is to come later in the game.
You need to get timing of boss critical attacks right, learning it should be your priority. Grinding moral to 25 for serious attemps, or using Elixirs, is also important.
Similarly, other Bosses in this game also relate to their historical status. Bosses recorded as civil servants in historical records have weak combat effectiveness, such as Zhang Rang. The difficulty of other martial arts Bosses basically corresponds to the combat effectiveness recorded in historical records
I found two people eventually but it took a while. I am on game pass but was thinking of getting it for Steam to play on the deck. It's not cross play? No wonder why it took forever...You can all people in specifically? I thought it always has to be random.
If this is what the rest of the bosses are like in the game though I may not play anymore. I don't want to have to keep calling people in. I already thought the game was kinda boring because there is only really one way to beat the bosses. If you don't hit your parries ur done. But Lu Bu was THAT, but having to hit all those parries, for that long period of time was just not fun at all.
Other souls and souls like games are like that for sure, but I felt like even in Nioh your build really matters. Same in Elden Ring. This it's like it barely matters.
Lu Bu hits like a truck, but he fights fair and comes straight at you from the front.
The Dragon furry you fight later drops two orb, then 4 orbs all around the boss arena. The each explode in rings that spread out to cover the entire arena, And no, I don't mean that they collectively cover most of the arena, I mean that each one will over the entire thing. They over lap, reach you with inconsistent timings, can hit you from behind, stun lock you, etc.
Meanwhile, the entire time this is happening, the furry is still flying around to mess with your camera, or it is attacking you while you are trying to deal with these AoEs from all directions that you can't even see half of.
Only guaranteed co-op is NPCs, but they are practically useless. I think there is an option in the settings to turn cross play and cross region on and off.
Some people on here were saying they got the best results by turning cross region OFF and cross play ON.
Pretty funny.
You sure like to brag a lot about how you are so good in the game and how you found it very easy, and yet couldn't figure out something so straightforward as jumping to avoid the electrical rings. And that's is just one of 3 other ways for avoiding them. The other 2 is just walk through the small gaps or throw some Metal magic nearby to nullify the element.
I wish jumping was more exploited in boss fights though. Besides this obvious fight, only Tiger Sun Jian ground stomp had a use for it, and maybe a similar attack in Majin Lu Bu fight as well.
I am just saying he and his lightning rings were way more BS than Lu Bu ever was.
