It does- or at least it's supposed to. I've seen screenshots of it and I had a friend get one once after beating Zhang Liang.
Thank you, that might be the problem. I'm not at mile 100 yet.
It is a very boring farm obviously but this is something that works. A pro tip on the health damage/spirit damage reduction of inner discipline...... Elemental damage is not affected. On my build I basically do 120 lightning dmg per hit with melee but only like 60-70 none elemental damage. The monkey still melts like nothing just don't get hit because you will just die in 1 hit.
I haven't tried the thousand miles journey yet but seeing how that is recommended as well I assume that's a good second option :D.
If you put everything to max(or max negative, so 300% spirit damage taken, 10% hp, and so on) you end up with roughly 250 luck. You can further increase that with luck on gear to like 450-500 luck. This will make 8 stars drop relatively frequently. Remember as well that you can use the "drop equiment/weapon/etc AA" to focus your drops to specific gear you are wearing.
But in about half an hour of actively farming the monkey in part 4 on dragon king last night I got about 5 8 stars of which 3 were gear I could use.
HP Damage Dealt and Received increases 6-7 per point.
Spirit Damage Dealt and Received is 3-4 per point.
HP Recovery is 2-3 per point.
Maximum Moral Rank is 1-2 per point
Nullification of Special Effects is 62 Points.
I generally lower my HP Damage Dealt, HP Recover and Max HP since my build focus on Spirit Damage and my damage mainly comes from Fatal Blows.
However you'll have to adjust what works for you and what is something you can't give up.
You were right. I've been getting loads of 8 star gears after I hit mile 101 and up. So lovely!

If I can ask; is there a reliable way to get Ancient Meteorite?
Keep running thousand mile journey. Around lvel 200ish(I forgot the exact number) you unlock the ability to buy Ancient meteorite in the golden hooves shop.
Besides that you need to get +12 gear drops and then salvage those. The way to get those is by using the inner discipline system and setting it so it drops a range from +11 - 16, this now includes +11 up to and including +16 gear to drop but obviously makes the game harder cause of the restrictions. A pro tip I can give you is to not go overboard, when you hit B- which is 11-16 you are pretty much good and you can achieve that by setting like +20% more spirit damage taken orso.
8* can always drop, it's +11 up to +20 gear that you need inner discipline on.
If you go to your battle flag and fiddle with the controls a bit you can see on the right that it changes to stuff like "B- 11-14" that means you can get +11 to +14 drops. The higher that goes the higher you can drop.
You need to thousand mile journey on difficulty 3 with just about everything turned to max if you want to get +20, you only need to get +20 dropped once. The way the system works is that it checks how high of a drop you have gotten and that becomes your new highest possible enchant.
So if you have gotten a +16 dropped then +16 is your max, get a +18 then +18 becomes you max etc.
