"I literally said that the depth is the very thing that allows for player expression. Player expression is not possible without significant depth."
ok brony.
Come up with an actual counter point other than "it not deep or expressive because i can't make up my mind on what to use" this time please, you're in a discussion, discuss.
Where did I whine? I merely pointing out that the "depth" that people claim Nioh 2 has is not really very "depth~y".
Did my difference of opinion and preference trigger your projection?
I like both games, I just happen to like Wo Long more. I did spend 500 over hours in Nioh 2. If I don't love that game, would I spend 500 over hours?
I believe that everyone has their preference, I just find it funny that every new game, you have funny people telling others that their preference is objectively true and if you say other wise, you are a "whinner". Ironically, they are here whinning about how this game is not like their favourite Nioh 2, when it really isn't meant to be like their favourite Nioh 2. Ironic isn't it?
I don't need people's validation for not liking or disliking another game. Thread like this pops up like mushroom in almost every new game. Dark souls 2, darks souls 3, Nioh 2, Elden Ring and surprise surprise, Wo Long.
I was pretty much blinded by how good Nioh and Nioh 2 turned out to be. I usually do not preorder or buy deluxe editions, ever.
However, I'm still hopeful for patches and DLCs to improve things. If not: shrug shoulders, accept the miscalulation and move on.
I might even get Strangers of Paradise soonish, but not for full price and this time, for PS5 instead.
But thats NOT nioh XD
it will be a 100% new game with a different name lol
You talking about and wanting a Niohlike game.
Soulslike: like Dark Souls - deliberate, punishing, heavy, morose, interesting.
Niohlike: like Nioh - fast, reaction-heavy, complex systems, punishing, stacking NG+ runs, gameplay-focussed.
Both share things, but are different in character.
I like Soulslikes, but I would love Niohlikes.
Sadly, Wo Long fails a bit to be a Niohlike. Too little complexity for that. Still closer to that than to being a Soulslike.
Then go play a Nioh 2 Mod. If all you care is about skins and Nioh 2 game play.
Mixed success. Still, I don't think it's a bad game on its own.
That said I like Wo Long but i wont buy till in on sale by that time pc issue so be fixed. Now Nioh and Nioh 2 probably only games i preorder in last decade. both have easily 1000+ hours in each of them.
Not to be out game hour wise though Skyrim has well over 5000hours put into
How did I say it as if it is a bad thing? I am curious.
While I drink you quite regularly, your post is crap.
Bigotry to the max.
Even if 99% of any anime profiles doing something you don't like is true, that's still massive bigotry.
Not to say I don't agree with you sometimes.
That said, either shut up or represent your company label with all the repercussions involved.
