Which element counters which?
Just a fast topic. I'm now fighting that lightning guy that in true Nioh 2 fashion is 100% immune to stagger, so I'm having about as much fun as in any average Nioh 2 fight - which is to say not any. xD

But the charts I found online shows that Metal cancels Wood. And Lightning is a wood spell, yet no matter how much poison I spam it's not having any effect. So how do I disable a lightning boss the same way water disables fire?

Draw a pentagram on the chart.
Metal -> Wood -> Earth -> Water -> Fire -> Metal.

Yes, like I said I've seen that figure. Except metal (poison) does not cancel wood (lightning) so it's wrong or there's something else going on.

"lightning guy" is this ZHANG LIAO? You can cancel his lightning but not his lightning sword.
