The blindboy had his eyes closed the entire time (sleeping dragon) and when he did open his eyes, his divine beast summon transformed from an eastern dragon (long dragon) to a western one (winged dragon). That entire scene there made me think the whole title is regarding him.
Also, the blindboy was the one who provided him the jade for deflection. Without the blindboy, the protagonist would still be a militia soldier. There's one note in the village before fighting the Blindboy that a militia soldier was revived. It's possible that it's the protagonist and his fate is interlinked with the Blindboy since then.
And they should have a special relationship. Who would go the entire length/decades just to revert him back from Yu Ji's clutches?
A lot of it is open to interpretation of course, but IMO, the blindfolded boy reviving the protag gave them the opportunity to accomplish everything they did when they would otherwise have been just another casualty of war.
wo means crouch or nap or sleeping,in modern Mandarin, 卧(wo)usually using for animals , like 那条狗卧(wo)在那里,that dog crouch there, sometimes a beast 卧(wo)somewhere maybe having the meaning of lurk, but 卧龙(wolong) is a almost fixed phrase, like the 诸葛亮(zhugeliang)to be called wolong,so wolong maybe means a dragon is take a rest to crouch or not interest to take some move to do something, key word is long(dragon) , that one is strong and powerful, wo can have different implications but essentially it has to crouch there
Thanks. That's why I was referring to his closed eyes = doing nothing during the reveal. My opinion will remain that the title is regarding Zhuge Liang/blindboy.
The game is only revealing his identity during those flashbacks nothing mpre nothing less. His death is still open ended though as it could be prevented but I doubt if the game is following character deaths to a tee.
Well, we have seen that Sun Jian still dies at roughly the same point in the plot that he usually does, just under different circumstances. He's the only character we've met so far who reached his fated time of death.
The 卧 in this context with regards to a talented one can be translated as hidden. hidden talent that has yet to display talent or abilities.
I think those are just the game devs teasing abt future dlc. not necessarily that he foresaw it.
I believe its like how the ending scenes in Nioh 2 hint at the upcoming DLCs
Lu Bu and Sun Ce also died but I'm not sure if it's on the correct period. Sun Ce's death is crappy though. But Zhuge Liang used his death as a ploy so KOEI could be creative on that front.
Cao Cao has those massive elixir boxes on the final cutscene. He'll be a villain for sure. Sima Yi or Jin could be the final boss with Wu Zhang Plains as the battlefield.
I'm sure they will villainize Liu Bei after Wu takes Jing province during the battle of Yi Ling.
With all the creative freedom they took so far -- Diao Chan as Hong Ning, Yu Ji taking the imperial seal, a Zuo Ci led hidden cultivation village -- Zhuge Liang could have a different role instead of being an advisor of Shu. The three visits will be an interesting scene/event to see if there will be one.
I'm interested to see Wei Yan and Kong Ming's interaction. He's an anti Zhuge Liang dude. Will he be a stereotypical warrior freak like in Dynasty Warriors or will they give him some flair for being an Anti Zhuge Liang?
