Anyone found any 5 star gear in NG+?

Yeah, a couple of pieces, but they are really rare. I guess they are what Team Ninja want you grinding for.

I got a few pieces in NG while finishing off the sub missions. I use a couple of luck accessories and Yinglong for the extra drop rate.

Real endgame will probably not hit until all the DLCs are out by the end of the year.

Even with increasing luck stats and using Yinglong, the drop rates are extremely low.

I got extremely lucky and got the main weapon I use as a 5 star drop. It was my first 5 star drop that wasn't an accessory from the panda bear thingies. https://imgur.com/a/EMibVzx

Assuming this follows the same road Nioh 2 followed, we might be getting higher rarity gear once the DLC drops.

Well you main purpose to get at least 1 weapon and 1 armor then feed it to panda. I've got several pieces with luck 121 and A drop.

you can drop 4 star +8/+9 weapons/armor to the pandas and it will still give u 5 star accessories.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ / Panda demon are extremely unreliable when trying to get gear from them. If you drop 5 starred armour or weapons, they more often than not just respond with accessories.

Totally forgot about the hammer. Any little will help, I suppose, haha.

Pretty sure the panda's can only give accessories. They are how you roll for accessories since you cant change slots at the blacksmith on them.

Luck in every slot, but not rocking a drop set/weapon and the first boss dropped greens of his sit upon kill. sadly not his weapon though it was only 4 star.
