It's hard to describe but he's near the long ladder that leads to the panda cub while you're in the sewers, don't go up the ladder but look across and you should see an item on the other side of the room he's just above that.

He's actually in a different location. Maybe I encountered a bug on my first attempt as I couldn't find him at all.

Nah he has multiple spawns, ive heard up to 3? i almost quit the mission when on my 5th time running around the level i happen to catch the top of his head high above me. pretty annoying.

And his name is ZHANG JIAO not Guo Jia. When I met him on the first battlefield in part 6, I thought it's a fictionalized zhang jiao who turned over a new leaf and revived but it's a mistranslation after all.

Funny you'll get him as a companion after this mission and his name again is still Zhang Jiao. Maybe he got drunk so much he changed his name.

This is also where I found him. To explain in more detail for all, first time you go down in to sewers and you fight the witch and the red mermaid (thats just want I call them). There is a ledge you can jump up to and there are 2 demonic solders there. Then you go up another ledge but do not walk striaght and instead turn right and go up one more and there is where he was. This seems to also be where he was 2 more times with my friends game as well. Though we all cleared everything first and then started back tracking and that is where we found him.

i have found him in the Uninhibited Heart sub mission. But i cannot get him to appear as a reinforcement. Can someone help please!

I found him on top of a pillar in the sewers. Right before I found him I came across a bottle of sake or something. That is the cue he is around.

Ive found the bottle and talked to him. the mission completes. But there must be another step(s). I am trying to get his armor set, but i can't get him to appear as a reinforcement.

How do you summon him as a reinforcement? Met him on part 6 and got him from sub already. Thanks

Did you both have Xun Yu when you finished the sub mission uninhibited heart? Anyways, I was already in part 6 when I finished this and then he was there as a reinforcement.

Not sure, but as is always the way, I entered a random mission and he was available. So i have now found him in the mission about a dozen times. lol.

I played all DLC missions in Soaring Dragon of EXT1 - but Tactical Excercises wont unlock. In lower difficulties it is unlocked! What I am I missing, have not played the game for a while?!
