so the mostly negative is from optimization and kbm?
just wondering because it runs fine on a 4090, although 70% gpu usage on this game from a 4090 seems much. Im only about an hour in; is the game genuinely bad? The bad reviews just optimization and controls ?

Seems like it.

I am genuinely having a good time on a 3080, no performance issue on my end after setting mode to prioritize resolution, ambient occlusion off and 120cap.

But.. YES there are the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stutters similar to Elden Ring. Shader compilation? But they do go away it only happens at the start of a level.

so what is else bad ? aha the graphics are outdated a decade ago, small and pathetic map, no enemy variations, very bad UI...
best thing is the loot, i hate sekiro and valhalla for not being loot driven as nioh for minmax

120 fps is broken because the game speed is tied to the framerate. You to constantly hold that fps target which is not possible with current CPU on the market.

ps3 graphics, look at demon's souls remake, it's like a game from other dimension

better to lock it at 60fps then?

7900XTX here runs flawlessly with my 4K monitor. I can't seem to unlock frames, but meh, Vsync works lovely.

However, you bet, I am going to printout the Keyboard and Mouse layout, if not work with modders on improving it.

I would have bought on console to be limited to a controller, period.

My console uses a PS5 controller much better than my PC in the first place.

to me it looks as good as nioh... im not here for crazy graphics

I don't have performance issues in itself (game doesn't allow me to choose 120fps on my 165fps monitor though), but everything feels choppy. Animations and camera panning feel <30fps, even though the game runs stable with just 15%cpu/30%gpu. So I had to ditch it as it is a chore to play like this. It literally hurts my eyes.
I compared it to Nioh 2 and it is worlds different. Nioh runs smooth at 120fps in 4k. I'm currently downloading the ps5 demo to compare, but I wonder why so few people talk about the choppyness.
It's not just controls, these are just idiots comparable to woke people looking for drama in their boring lifes.

It's the framtime, it is all over the place when you are playing even though fps will be high and stable.

Imagine playing an action game like Ninja Gaiden, God Of War or Dark Souls with a kb&m LOL that's straight up bizarre :lunar2019crylaughingpig:

interesting, im not having these problems on a r9 7950x/4090 build, i know im not the normal; but i feel like this game should run pretty well on much older hardware

No way... Nioh looked better than Wo Long by far. Something weird happened in Wo Long development. Such an ugly game.

could it be g-sync and i have my global frame limit capped to 117FPS in the nvidia control panel "3fps below my monitors refresh rate" i was told with g-sync you want it 3fps lower than your displays max refresh rate for whatever reason

maybe the in game frame limit doesnt work correctly on high end hardware; it seems people with RTX cards are having this issue

Seems to me the main problem is the people who insist on using k& m in a game CLEARLY designed for a controller. And don't give me the old "I don't own a controller" excuse, if you can afford the game you can afford a controller.

It's like playing Forza on k&m and wondering why you came last in an online race.

Thankfully I have the game on both Xbox and PC because of Game Pass Ultimate.

I played God of War and Elden Ring with M+K flawlessly. Why is it bizarre in your opinion? Please explain.
