Ugly graphics

Is it just me or is this game hideous? Even Ninja Gaiden Sigma looks better. The graphics look chunky and blocky. What happened? I remember being blown away by the graphics and look of the game when it was first revealed.

I think they pulled an Ubisoft downgrade on us...

On the graphics settings there is a thing called "mode."
Click on it and pick "prefer resolution." That fixes the graphics issue.

That's because it's just a drag and drop of the console version

I always facepalm whenever someone mentions that a game that looks absolutely nothing like an N64 game looks like an N64 game. Xbox game? Sure, you could argue that. But N64? Not even remotely close by any stretch of the imagination.

Looking old isn't the issue, the issue is looking old while being more demanding than games like Metro Exodus, Control, etc. People expecting people to drop money on the game and praise it while having these issues in a month where Trails To Azure, RE4 Remake, and TLoU Part 1 are also releasing is hilarious.

you have to change the graphic settings in the titlemenu. It doesn't change that much if you change it in a level

It looks like a PS3 title but is more demanding than some of the best looking games in recent memory.

Console peasants not understanding that PC can actually have better graphics and thus people have higher standards for games. They really think this game measures up to Callisto Protocol, Atomic Heart or Hogwarts Legacy graphics wise.

Only one of those games is well programmed and runs well. Take games like Control with RT enabled, Metro Exodus, Horizon Zero Dawn, Days Gone, Battlefront 2, Monster Hunter World, RE 2 and 3 Remake, RE 7, RE Village, etc. All these games look multiple gens ahead of Wo Long but aren't as hardware demanding. It's ridiculous.

Well, yeah, there are plenty of examples. Though usually games get patched into running more smoothly, like Callisto Protocol did, but they don't get patched prettier. Man, kinda wanna play RE8 again. Maybe gonna do that until they figured out how to make a game with mouse controls XD

I've seen cliffs about 2-3 arms length from my character where the textures are stretched all the way down so the texture just looks like 7 different colored lines. Its crazy...
