xbox controller doesn't work
I had the same issue with sekiro and the only solution was a different controller setup which ended up being really annoying so i just decided to play keyboard and mouse. This was fine for sekiro as i was able to eventually learn the controls really well, but on this game its just absolutely horrendous. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix the controller issue.

Mine, the Series X one, is working fine. Though I had to manually change from DualSense to Xbox in System > Control Settings > to the Type B controller (Xbox one)

UPDATE YOUR XBOX FIRMWARE

If you are on gamepass, it works after firmware update wth xbox controller

Download xbox accessories and connect via USB cable with Data

unplug other usb devices (not the mouse obviously).

Why would you inflict that on yourself ?
Just get a decent controller.

I have the xbox series x elite controller lmao. i managed to get my controller to work its just that now when i press rs a keyboard shows up for some reason

Maybe some people want to play with these controllers in that case i'm not stopping anybody from doing so.
However, it only makes it far less confortable, hinders gameplay among other things...

Still, that's no reason to talk like that.
It's just fluff, you make no point, don't advance discussion nor help.
