Like for example, sports games arent for me and so on...
I kinda agree the first boss is the hardest, 2 phases with 3 healin items is kinda hard for the average player but the second phase can be skipped when the boss is at half hp.
Learn to parry, learn to dodge. If you suck at the game then just slow down and only go in for 1 or 2 hits until you learn the attack patterns and timing. Don't ask for nerfs because your friend sucks at the game
Personally I don't think that fight is particularly challenging so "your friend" probably skipped reading or listening to any of the mechanics tutorials and just mashed buttons and doesn't care. If they don't care and aren't interested why would you even want them playing the game? They should go play call of duty or whatever they're really interested in.
Morale is pretty retarded though and just makes it so you have to alt f4 or quit to title when you're attempting no-hits or practicing to avoid having to grind it back up again.
Skill issue. Once you learn this fight it's super easy.
If a game is too hard then don't blame the game blame the player. Nothing about this boss is cheap feeling and its simply telling you that you better get the deflect mechanic down or you will be here for a while. There are people who have no hit all of the demo bosses with ease and even I felt the demo was generally easy especially compared to the first level of the Nioh games.
Learn the mechanics, get the parry timing down, learn the bosses moveset and you can easily beat the first boss.
To alleviate the complaining all they needed to do was put the 2nd level first because those sub-bosses were even easier. No need to call for nerfs already in a demo of all things.

Also the rank gauge thing that can go to 25 either makes you unstoppable or something else does because having it at max makes the first boss extremely easy.
They should make it so if you deflect while fighting more than 1 enemy the camera auto targets to that person. So I'm essentially saying the game should just be Arkham Batman of the souls-like genre.
In the second form, what causes a lot of stun on the boss is breaking the red arm, dodge everything, and counterattack only when he launches the arm. the most difficult for me is when he advances with several attacks in red and dodging is difficult. I still haven't beaten him, but I'm almost close to doing so. the first dlee form I totally mastered. I fight with morale 10, and tier 1 item, tier 3 boots and tier 2 helmet. DON'T USE MAGIC, it almost doesn't help you, we are very exposed when casting and it doesn't help much.
That would makes sense but tbh they should of just made a better tutorial to understand the mechanics of the game instead of the massive text walls. If they mentioned a training area like Nioh then I guess thats how you learn the game but it should be taught better in the starting area.
