ELDEN RING - Rise of the Ronin.
They always seem to be one step behind and that is what makes me suspicious they are literally seeing what FROM does to do it and get some of the fall down from it, which i mean, fair play it's seemed to be working well for them.

Ninja Gaiden - Onimusha
Maybe it´s part of their way of game development to heavily look at what kind of action the general public likes or what they themselves find interesting, and try and expand on it, make it their own.

I mean in the end there is nothing inherently wrong with it, they always try to put their own twist on it so meh. Their games are good which is what matters.
Those games are more difficult than every FromSoft game combined and seeded today's "dark souls" game philosophy. Go play it.

Not everyone enjoys a challenge. I still remember exploring the maps, finding new weapons, upgrading at the shop, learning boss patterns, etc. It was incredible.
Most games by comparison are way too easy now days. Woo Long included.
