Blue Yeti Microphone Crackling

When attempting to use Blue Yeti Microphone & streaming via OBS with this particular game, the microphone crackles constantly for listeners when the title is in focus. Apparently this has been an issue with past Koei Tecmo titles as well. I did some digging. This is an issue for other games like Crash, MK11, DOA6,detroitbecomehuman, okamihd, etc. These games ask "DirectInput to enumerate all devices about 10 times a second which is both I/O heavy and completely pointless" For anyone having this issue, there is a patch you can do that stops redundant directinput asks.

The person who made it originally did so for Crash but it should work in most of these sloppy directinput programming instances.

Go to https://github.com/quidrex/CrashFix and click "v1" on the right, then click "dinput8.dll" under "Assets" to download it. Drop this file in the game directory (steamapps\common\WoLongFallenDynastyDemo) to instantly fix the issue.

Sadly you have to drop this same patch into each game directory (if you have other games that do this) that has the issue because "AAA" devs can't be bothered to patch their own sloppy PC releases.

buffer issue try chainge the buffer set on your interface our the mic our on your pc you cpu can't handle process the sound faster enough so if you have a higer bufer you give it time to hande the sound better

Same here, unfortunately, dinput8 is breaking my game as I can't do anything.
Here is hoping that it will be fixed or someone will find some workaround.

For people having issues controlling the game with a controller after dropping in the file, you may have to tweak your controller settings via steam. Try enabling the respective controller configs in steam and/or launching in big picture mode.
