The implicit questions were, "why?" and "how did this happen?" and "plz fix this?"
"Because they decided so", "because they thought so" and "doubt"
They should've made crossplay with steam too....
Well less sense for those who want to coop/invade i personally touch neither to the point i sometimes forget nioh has coop, not to dismiss the situation though, very unfortunate choice on their part.
My friend, I'm making an effort to not be a jerk, so I'd appreciate it if you did the same. I'm not looking for a fight here. If multiplayer isn't something you care about, I respect that, but please don't bring that playground attitude to the dinner table.
My bad I was just messing around, because i think posts like this are redundant, most devs don't read steam forums because its a cesspool, so your basically screaming into the void, best way is to email them i believe or join their official discord and say something because it has the community manager in there, but unless a ton of people make noise nothing is going to happen.
You're right, there are only really two ways to get these kinds of things addressed. The first is to go through official channels - which I've done, apart from using Twitter and Discord because those platforms are cesspools anyway, and I try to avoid them - and the second is to reach a critical mass of attention.
I'm not actively trying to start a massive crusade here, but while I'm waiting for a machine-written apology thanking me for my feedback and informing me that it will be forwarded to the relevant department, I arrived here, partly to check if anybody has any actual insights, and yes, partly to scream into the void.
It's not like there's anything to be lost by taking that shot in the dark, which is why I don't like it when people try to handwave legitimate consumer complaints.
If you want to see this changed, go and let them know. I for one don't have the time to continue fighting the publisher *and* the gatekeepers of the community, so good luck.
Sony was never going to play ball for this game. The issue at hand is the splitting of the PC playerbase.
Difficult to believe that MS does not care where the game shows up but is exactly domineering enough to veto crossplay. Prove me wrong though - I'd genuinely be open to correction... but ostensibly, it's a KT/TN bureaucracy problem.
And like I said, I'm more or less done with this.
Your complaint about my complaint has been noted.
Doesn't bother me; I usually don't play with others unless it's RL friends anyway, though I'll be interested to see what options this offers.
