Will we be able to create that alternate 2nd bridge for West Salem Oregon to see how it will impact traffic especially for the cable ferries?
God that would be so neat to see how implementing that 2nd fantasy bridge would impact the area around Keizer (Just north of Salem) and see if cable ferries like The Buena Vista/Wheatland/Canby Ferry for some examples be included as there are about a dozen still remaining in the US which DOES affect traffic flow to some degree mainly local traffic and tourism. The Wheatland Ferry is almost always busy with long lines of cars waiting to get on unless you go during mid afternoon just prior to rush hour. You have to time it juuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuust right.

California also has some ferries for the delta region such as the J Mack/Real Mcoy and one other I can't remember the name of but it's all here: https://dot.ca.gov/caltrans-near-me/district-4/d4-projects/d4-solano-delta-ferry

Edit: There's 2 ferries. I sworn once there was a 3rd around there. There used to be a ferry in Northern California The Princton Ferry which I went on as a kid in the 90s but it shut down shortly after we moved away by the late 90s. Here's what it now looks like all dried up: https://ferryriders.com/ca/princeton/

Wikipedia says it was temp resumed in the late 80s till the late 90s so I was right I knew I went on it and remember not being very impressed of the route but the ferry itself is pretty. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princeton,_California

Hi! You will be able to build that bridge, however to calculate it's impact on the surrounding area you'd need a really big traffic model, which I'm not sure Junxions will be adequate for.

Ferries and boats in general are planned as a free update after the game releases, but they won't be in the game on launch.

Seeing you so enthusiastic about traffic I'd recommend you to hop on our Discord server, we are discussing traffic solutions daily :)

For many reasons don't do Discord. Not into that modern well I won't say it here but thanks for replying and glad to know ferries are planned and hope they impact local traffic.

This is our 'big' ferry. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5r-Qiia7m0 Wheatland Ferry in which Canby is the next big one so to speak but not operated by Marion County. I got to blow the horn on the Wheatland Ferry and once helped lower the ramp which the guy showed me the ramp cam which was cool. The Canby ferry guy once on a night crossing shined the light on the river reading to let me see it and I also got to help lower the ramp on that one.
