Well first of all i've got news for you, every single monster hunter game has some kind of gimmick and new things. All of them unless I'm forgetting one or two.
Second, and maybe more important, there have been guns in MH since day one. Wtf are you even saying lol.
The only thing that is even new in the whole trailer is the location (new every time), monsters (new or mixed up every time), and the mount (new).
By this logic I could go to any MH game and say "WTF is (x) this isn't monster hunter!"

I kinda feel the same way but look at wirebugs for example. A lot of the gimmicks as I calll them (not negative) have things like that about them but I like to think they are pretty good at balancing them (usually)
That being said overall I agree.

I really hope (@capcom) we get something like Jhen Mohran fight again. I could imagine it would be much cooler now.

As a person who's started monster hunter around 2006 and has been playing every monster hunter game since then. I welcome this new direction they're going with making uglier monsters. Not sure why some people are having issues with monsters not looking "cute" when they are suppose to be savage beasts living in harsh environments but It's neat that Capcom is trying to make literal MONSTER (Hunter) looking creatures. Excluding how easy and streamlined Monster Hunter has become since World. The one thing I do like that they've been adapting is making the world/environment settings very lived in and organic. This game seems to take that idea to the next level. I'm excited.

I really hope this Game is not Story only Gameplay. Like, with MH-World in the Base Game, I felt a little left out. But with Iceborne the Game got Complete, so I hope Wilds gets a good Ending and Endgame without waiting for more DLC.

I got my hopes up Capcom :)

Dont make it weird and short like in Dragons Dogma 2 :(

Pretty sure just about every MH game has some form of story, though of course naturally as the series innovates and builds upon itself it's going to have things like cutscenes, more writing, etc.
