Wirebug problem.

Hi, I have a small issue with using wirebug on melee. I know you can do three directions (upward, forward, and to crosshair) and I can do them all when using range weapons, but I can't seem to use the aim at crosshair wirebug move on melee. I did not change any of the controls.
Doing the shown button (middleclick+ Button 4) on my mouse does nothing. The rest works as intended. any help is appreciated.

Ranged and melee weapons have different buttons to aim the wirebug. Look in controls.

I already knew that from trying to rebind the button but it just doesn't work at all. It is very strange.
