Game just stops accepting mouse clicks

Does anyone have a problem where the game randomly stops accepting mouse clicks? I know my mouse is working because I can use it on other areas of my pc but in monster hunter rise it just sometimes bugs out and doesn't respond to any of the clicks.

When this triggers during a hunt it's essentially unplayable because I can't attack. The only time it fixes is if it transfers me to back to the village. Is there a solution to this to refresh it when it happens?

Yes! This has been happening to me every single day, multiple times a day. I've been going crazy because I couldn't find anyone else with the same issue. So far I've worked around finishing the hunt by rebinding LMB + RMB to random keyboard keys but it's only ever resolved by going back to town. Usually both just stop working, but I had one instance today where only RMB stopped working. I haven't found any pattern to when it occurs either. Sometimes it happens mid-combat, sometimes it's while running around on a palamute not even touching my mouse buttons. One strange thing I noticed is that in the post-hunt loot screen after the bug occurs, if you hover over the lootboxes it will rapid-fire accept each item, as if they were being clicked rapidly.

I've also had an issue where the ranged-targeting reticle gets stuck on my screen, so I can't attack unless it's with a kunai or while on a palamute. This is also only resolved by returning to town.

Both issues have persisted for me through multiple cache verifications and a reinstall.

Just played a two rampages. The first one, RMB 'stopped working'. I couldn't attack normally, but could use turrets and the RMB attack would constantly go, as if I was holding it down. Second one I had the ranged targeting mode stuck on again, locking me out of anything that would bring up a window (placing defenses, using storage box). I also couldn't use any defenses, but I could remove them.

I'm assuming these are all related and the game client just thinks the RMB/LMB/scroll wheel are just constantly being held down, blocking other input.

I'm curious if maybe it could be an incompatibility with the mouse software. I'm using a Logitech G600/G Hub.

I also use the G600. I know all my drivers are updated and tried disabling steam input as I've seen folks suggest for other similar issues. I'm not sure if it's the RMB/Scroll action since I disabled that on mine since I don't like the feel of it.

The thing is if I rebind the attacks to say the keyboard I can attack with the keys so for me I don't think the issue is that the input is being blocked. But it does just bug out the mouse that it no longer registers any inputs from the clicks. Can't even change the options without working in full keyboard mode.

It's weird how sometimes it also just locks out one of the clickers (either left or right). Someone else said that alt-tabbing out of the game and going back refreshes it but for me that hasn't fixed it yet. I've tried windowless/borderless/full screen settings when doing so and still looking for a temp solution to refresh mid fight vs exiting the hunt/zoning out

I got the middle mouse button/scroll wheel bug during one quest today, closed G Hub, and so far I haven't had issues with LMB or RMB in a hunt yet (which is unusual). I'll edit this if it happens again but probably worth trying in the interim imo.

I think you're right about the hub. Finally at least found a temp solution to clear up the bug during hunts.

When the clicks stop triggering I just close out and reopen G hub and it fixes it during the hunt so I don't have to leave. I'm sure you can probably just leave it off but if you're like me and like the extra side buttons it's a way to refresh it without losing out on the thumb buttons.

Iv'e found a rediit topic with the fix issue. This is the g-switch defautl bind enable.
You can bind another key or disable it.
