No Voice when Creating Character
Sampling the voice does not respond at all on mouse, keyboard or controller, or m+k w/ unplugged controller. Same goes for headsets voice and voice chat settings/volume on or off and I never had Logitek HUB on like the other thread I've seen here. Don't even have any mic apps or mics connected to my system. Tried reinstalling and verifying file integrity as well. Nothing works, I just do not have voices in my game. The voice and character lipsyncing just will not respond during creation, haven't checked their respective files first hand but I'm assuming they're there and working fine.

Might be a glitch. I remember faintly another thread in which a player mentioned it got miracelly solved by a simple PC restart.

I recommend two approaches

a) check if something changes when you change the voice over language from the main menu

b) go through character creation quit the game midgame and see if it fixes the glitch next time you start your PC

Still no luck I'm afraid.

Hm... assuming you checked which sound output the game uses, which sound mode it is using, and whether all the other sounds and BGM are working fine ~ I would be out of ideas.

My natural suspicion would be that the game does set something as default as sound output which you have not on your screen - like something where you set it to stereo but you actually have mono, and you cannot hear half of what is put out. But I assume you checked that thoroughly before posting.

OKAY. Finally after messing with everything sound related including disabling and enabling every sound setting/device in Windows, I found that the voices work now that I have... unplugged my mouse. Thank you for taking the time to help! XD

I don't know if it really was that because that makes zero sense to me, maybe the game just needed that 23rd restart, but I got it working now so that's good. I do know some of the stuff I tried before some of the restarts was selecting a different language and picking English again under Steam Library>Right Click MHR>Properties>Language as well.
