game feels way easier in high rank?

i was struggling to finish hunts in under 20 minutes in LR but now i'm HR5 (still using LR magnamalo armor) but it feels like i've started steamrolling things, most of my hunts are over in 10-15 minutes now instead of 20-30. is this normal?

10-15 mins for a hunt it's a normal time for MHR. If you find a good party for endgame you are able to finish a run in 10 mins or less same as MHW to be honest.
Maybe you are good or this is not your first MH?

i have about 35 hours in world as well and got to high rank before moving to rise (ended up clicking with the movement more) but i felt like high rank in world was kicking my ass way more (and low rank in rise to an extent too). maybe i did just improve though since i have close to 100 total hours in the series now.

It's generally that youre a bit better at the series now. Once you've figured out how to play in one title, moving forward, things will get easier for you regardless of how easy/hard the game is considered. I find it personally unfortunate that with World, the difficulty sorta plateaus for most of the end game, where with Rise and Iceborne, there's always a steady increase of difficulty. It might not be as sudden as World's or previous titles, but Rise also reordered the appearance of monsters compared to previous titles, so there's less walls, and more player skill building.

10-15 mins is normal, steamroll is under 5 mins

End-game you can expect to finish (non-anomaly) hunts in 5 mins or less

I think you just get used with the game, also high rank you have more switch skill unlock and better decorations make it more easy to control weapon and stronger (with full crit build it definitely makes the hunt shorter a lot).

World is an easier game. Creatures are slower and easier to deal with.

I can clear the hardest fights in world (fatalis and AT velk) solo with mild difficulty and a decent build, yet I can't clear primzeno with a complete build, tell me how world is harder
