Comunicar un error de traducción
Poor communication is an understatement. But it fits Capcom's regular communication, so...

It is explicitely promoted towards new players.
... Listen beginners, don't use those things.
Nothing to do with that. It is almost certainly to do with money. Some stupid business suits probably reasoned that if they can make completing the base game easier and faster, more people will buy and play the expansion, so they told somebody to implement a way for people to get there faster. Something along those lines. No game designer worth their salt would EVER think this is a good idea to give those things to brand new players who do not know how to play the game.

A lot of times people who just like their product and don't want it to become something else entirely are called gatekeepers over it.
I don't care if you use defender weapons, btw. If you're a vet do what you want. If you're a noob I'll caution you for a rude awakening when you can't use them any more, but you can still do what you want.
If you try and get capcom to add them until endgame I might have some complaints.
Its a set that is meant for you to breeze into sunbreak. It's optional. You can use it if you want to and you can toss it away if you don't like it.
not at any point from the day you start and til the day you finish, will anyone ever, hold you at gun point and force you to wear this set. While wearing it (or not) you can do exactly the same thing as you could if you were to not wear it (or wear it). You can farm monster parts for armor sets or weapons, or you can not.
i don't get the issue people have with this.
That is what I have explained in the guide

The issue people have with that is mainly because how it affected the community badly with a surprisingly strong impact overall. Even banal things are affected, like, imagine you have a friend you want to convince to enjoy the game together. But they never understand the appeal because they used Defender Gear and stopped playing shortly after ~ and damn ~ the Defender Gear in MH:W is really amazing in that regards...
It's not a problem and it's optional and once you hit MR it doesn't matter anymore. It also doesn't concern you what other people use. lol
Well, if you do not get it, you do not get it.
There is nothing to get, you're wrong and you project, like so many do.
it has no effect on you what people use. Didn't you also advocate that modding your game (Anomaly quests) wasn't cheating because monster hunter wasn't competitive?
Lol it doesn't matter. If it DID matter - then the cheat mods, the unlock mods, the one shotting monster mods, the Perfect roll talisman mods, the "Give me 9999 monster parts" mods would have an effect on you, too. Does it?
No. it doesn't.
One of them gets more use than the other.
