Mobile game?
Just tried the demo , after playing some time the 2018 game, this feels like a step back and on top of that this look and feels like a mobile game with AAA price tag?

Graphically they had to step back to ensure it worked with the Switch, I think it only got ported over to PC and eventually consoles because of demand. I could be wrong though but this feels like it was supposed to be a switch-exclusive (it was but only timed).

As far as the game goes it's nothing like a mobile game, the graphics are simple (blame nintendo) but the gameplay is a step-up from MH:World (2018) and there is 100s of hours of content.

Gameplay is actually step-sideways, not step-up (else Rise wouldn't be behind World in
constant online to this day). As IG main I despise all of the changes. Like, ALL of them. All of the new moves, while providing something new like counter and multistrike combo, are janky and unreliable. Not only that, but they are basicaly removed any i-frames from dodge. 0.12 seconds instead 0.2 at base is a joke.
And wirebug is worse than clutch claw, cause cc was optional addition (except tenderizing), wirebug is mandatory, cause you have no i-frames on dodge, you have to reposition yourself EVEN FROM THE TIP OF FASTEST TAILSWIPE. (also hitboxes are really questionable)

Despite all that and map design from 2010, it is decent, if you consider installing minor visual and audio mods. Sheer amount of monsters is vast in this game (although some of them lost their charm *cough*bazel*cough*) seem to make up for everything else. After all, its Monster Hunter, duh.

Yes. It was actually ported from the old Nokia phones, which also had snake.

Yes, it's a Switch game.

rise is a great game and tons of fun, graphically its less but gameplay its just as good, Used to be IG Main but this game legit made me a fan of Hammer and Gunlance.
What I did find is that the color pallet is bland so I used Nvidia Ansel Thing to add more color.
Not sure why people cry about graphics so much.

They had to focus on the pc version, switch is just a pro mobile phone. Unfortunately most of the parets are getting switch for there kids . Monster hunter world is great. But this one .i couldn't finish the demo even.

Yeah, of course someone who started with World couldn't even manage to complete the demo.

>Gameplay is mid
>Yeah, I play insect glaive

No wonder you don't care for it, the IG got the short end of the stick in RiseBreak. Unless you play aerial style, there's nothing for you, not even a counter. One of your best switch skills (diving wyvern) was free in previous entries, now it cost a wirebug. Every other weapon at least gets something.
