Are the boring afflicted missions the only way to farm outfit vouchers+?
So I now that I beat the game, I want to play dress up, but so far the only way I found to farm outfit vouchers is playing the boring afflicted missions, and they only give 1 ticket per run..

So is there any better way to farm these tickets? Because afflicted missions are not even challenging, it is just hitting the HP sponges for like an extended period of time until they die. Really the only difference between afflicted mons and normals is the little explosion they have and the bloated HP, not even speed or new moves. What a joke.

So any fun way to farm tickets?

They do actually have increased speed in the rage state, though it varies depending on monster. Just compare regular MR Izuchi to the afflicted one for example, or Arzuros. Personally I can't really tell the difference with something like Basarios but there are definite outliers. I do think it should be a more significant difference in the bigger monsters like it is in Izuchi and Arzuros and Ludroth etc.

What I meant to say is that the afflicted monsters are no harder than their regular counterparts, so it is the same as fighting their normal versions but with bloated HP, which in turn takes longer to kill them, which in turn starts feeling like hitting a sponge after a while.

Figthing afflicted monsters is not challenging nor exciting, it is a boring chore.

It is the only way to get them sadly unless they add more methods later on, And yeah..i think they increased the health of the monsters a tad too much.
I just keep youtube open on the side to keep myself engaged.

Yeah, you're playing the wrong game if fighting monsters is a boring chore. Sounds like you got your fill from the game. Just quit the game or quit complaining.
I mean sooner or later there's gotta be an event quest for vouchers, right? It might take quite a while to come though.

Fighting afflicted monsters is boring, they offer nothing different than the regular battles, other than bloated HP pools.

If they offer nothing different then that means fighting normal monsters is also boring. Ergo: stop playing the game if it's boring to you.
Well you can farm them with followers if you want, a mod came out today (i think it's today) and it allows you to bring followers for all the quests of the game (except quests in the arena or rampage map). So it'll be maybe more fun for you.

But honestly that's MH endgame, afflicted or not it will always be you farming endlessly all the monsters of the game. Don't do it just for the tickets, do it aswell for the mats (for your weapons you want to upgrade and for armors parts you have to make for new builds etc...).

I'm swimming in tickets cause besides the monster that are not available yet I'm using them to gather mats to make random weapons and all the armors for goofy builds I have in mind along with attempting to get my kill times down lower, I'm no speed runner anymore but I do enjoy getting sub 10 hunts on monsters I used to take ages against.

I should start using said tickets....I'm still in the high rank layered I remade on the pc from back in the early switch days.

I think people were expecting something like arch tempered monsters, or something with more new moves etc. rather than endgame just being basically the same monsters with more health.

I really enjoy monster hunter, but I don't see much interest in the afflicted monsters over just fighting the normal monster. Feels weird when layered armour is locked behind that rather than how layered armour works in the base game.
