Render Error?
Hello.
Im new to MH Rise here on PC. I have a laptop, specifically an Acer Nitro ANV15-51. Ive only played the game twice, the first time worked just fine, but the second time it didnt even let me launch the game, i solved that with the posted tutorial here. The next problem I came across was mid hunt. It popped this message
"C:\Program Files
(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MonsterHunterRise\MonsterHunterRise.exe
"D:\\RELauncher\\engines\\0\\gitroot\\runtime\\modules\\render\\os\\renderDeviceDX12.cpp" 287 Fatal D3D error (25)"
Ive already followed the tutorial of indian youtuber and it seemed to work just fine for about 2 hunts and the it popped up again. I dont know what else to do. If someon has any insight about this an could help me hunt agai Id be forever gratefull.

Not sure what the tutorials told you but make sure that you update your GPU drivers if you haven't yet.

What do you mean? I have 2 ssd in my laptop, the local one where I store everything and an additional one where I store my University documents. I havent touched nothing whatsoever. I was talking to my father and he suggested to factory reset it and do a backup afterwards in case something like this happens again.

I don't think so. This error with the letter D: has always been like that. I've installed Rise on many with different letters, and it always shows D:\\
Hey Miniz, One tip that may reduce the chances of this fatal error 25 is to set the Windows Power mode to Balanced.

Also, from time to time you can delete the shader.cache2 inside the game folder and also do a disk cleanup to delete some DirectX cache files etc.
This drastically reduced the fatal error 25 for me. I remember that I spent almost half the day playing with my friend without any problems.

Now the only bizarre bug I've noticed that can't be solved is Elgado closing the game without any error. I literally walk through Elgado, and if I look to the side where the ship is, the game has a chance of closing instantly.

This is literally random. Sometimes I pass by looking at the Ship without any problem, but then, on a random walk to talk to the Buddy NPC, BOOM, the game closes without any warning. LOL

@Edit; I forgot to mention that restarting the computer can also help.
Note that these tips are not meant to fix the problem, but to reduce the chances of it appearing. Unfortunately the only ones who can fix this is Capcom, but as the game is already kinda old and they haven't even done this in the past, then the chances are 0 of them fixing it.

Ontop of that you should also go to your steamapps\shadercache folder and delete the folder named ''1446780''. This should reset the shader and possibly fix some things.

Also verify your game files if you have not done that so far.

Did this problem only start after you fixed the first one? If so im curious about what you did to fix your first issue.
