i don't have to read past "i started playing monster hunter with world"
?? what does this mean LOL
as opposed to world, where HR is the pinnacle of difficulty and iceborne does not exist..? i'm replaying the game right now, let's not kid ourselves; HR has not been "difficult" for a while (thus the conception of an entire additional rank system)
additionally, you were probably doing village quests which are purposefully easier. i'd suggest running gathering hub hunts to play the actual game, but it seems you've been filtered lol
Idk how you can even compare these two unless you're trolling. Village doesn't even have High Rank so you probably are trolling, never played either of these games and are jester farming right?
i'm sorry but if you've encountered "plenty of clearcut difficulty spikes even throughout LR and HR" you might have just been terrible at the game. world is an easy slog all the way through to master rank as long as you're pseudo competent with your weapon(s) of choice.
rise is much the same in that you can very easily plow through everything up to master rank with just adequate knowledge of your weaponry. you wimped out before one of the more commonly agreed on "difficulty spikes" in rise, that being HR7 magnamalo.
Yeah I'm sure it's gonna be epic to, instead of spamming OP wirebug moves 100% of the time, I have to spam them 99% of the time and dodge a handful of moves before it dies. So hard and totally worth it.
fwiw, "play through 99% of the game then it finally gets good" is the exact way i feel about world too lmao it's such a slog. just let me skip directly to iceborne where the game ACTUALLY gets good
switch skills, scrolls/loadouts and wirebugs bring an immense amount of depth to the game that world lacks in many regards esp when it comes to buildcrafting.
[deafeningly loud incorrect buzzer]
aerial IG has never been healthier, dual blades feel extremely agile as they should, and gunlance has one of the most fun mobility options in the game (just the few weapons i'm certified to talk about due to having played them very extensively across the series)
but yes, the game with extra hotswappable movesets has no complexity. it's 4pm, go boot up world, your animation lock slop awaits LOL
I like both World and Rise, but I have much more fun in Rise, you have more tools to use.
That being said, she endgame is a slog. But World also was a slog. Hopefully they will improve it in Wilds.
