maybe try these? https://www.thewindowsclub.com/fix-the-fatal-d3d-error-in-monster-hunter-rise
Steam installed few kB of vcredist or Framework stuff.
Restart System.
That fixed mine... yesterday.
Increase virtual memory to at least fixed 24 GB and shader cache to 10 GB then try again.
Resume of what I did :
- Disable Steam Overlay
- Verify the integrity of the game files in steam
- Change the Steam launch options to: -dx11
- Change the DirectX12 to DirectX11 in the config file
- Cap the FPS
- Put compatibility mode for Win 7 for the game
- Administrator mode
- Check the Graphics settings and change it to high performance in windows
- Desactive XMP in the Bios
- Increase Virtual Memory
- Uninstall my driver completely and reinstall it
- Check the firewall
- Delete the shadercache
( And I have zero mod install)
What should I do ? 287 fatal d3d error (25) happen every 20 minutes :/
thanks in advance, i'm getting crazy haha
If nothing helps, then it is most likely because of your graphics cards' hardware. Since you have not shared a DxDiag yet, it is the time now.
That's a Dxdiag I just upload on my google drive. But it say "No problems found"
So I don't know what's wrong
Thanks for your answer btw buddy !
The DxDiag is not only for checking errors, but also hard- and software combinations which might be the cause, a lot of people do not think about.
In your case it is a very common error, which mainly appears with laptops and notebooks - the error is basically appearing every now and then when the software runs out of RAM and that is causing issues.
It is problematic because it is not clear whether it is actually MHR at fault.
On first glance, everything is good and great with your PC. Only worrisome is that D: has rather low space, which can affect certain hidden files of Windows. If you have a pagefile there, it would be troublesome. Considering the partition size I recommend to keep at least circa 25-30GB free space for certain apps to work correctly.
Going back to your initial issue I recommend giving the tip by dwani a try
It is part of my troubleshooting recommendations for rare issues as well, where it helped putting the game into windowed mode and then using e.g. Borderless Gaming (freeware) instead of using the game's fullscreen mode.
Please make also sure that no unnecessary devices are connected, like the Oculus set. Thing is: even when those stuff is unused, they often have large chunks of RAM and VRAM reserved - similar to Windows' standby mode. Hence apps like ISLC aka Intelligent standby list cleaner are quite popular for troubleshooting related issues.
For good measures I recommend to use DDU, just to be on the safe side in regards of leftover files.
To sum things up for you
- use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) for a complete fresh install of your display driver; currently it is looking good but over time leftover files can cause similar issues
- D: is low on space, while it might be unrelated it can cause issues over long term for other apps and your hardware
- make sure that no other unneeded devices are connected while playing
- put the game in windowed mode / set the game's resolution for testing to lower e.g. 1920x1080 and see if the issue persists; if it helps with windowed mode you can use the freeware Borderless Gaming
https://github.com/Codeusa/Borderless-Gaming/releases
for clarification
https://store.steampowered.com/app/388080/Borderless_Gaming/
as you can see there is also a Steam version of Borderless Gaming - both are more or less the same, so you may consider the Steam version a "supporters' edition"
- see if reinstalling DirectX helps
You did already a lot, and it should be very close to either solve your problem or... have to give up on it. But seeing your computer's specifications I am convinced it might be just a bad setting which is needed to be identified and found. Only critique from my side is all the Dx11 hogwash. The game does not support Dx11, so it does absolutely nothing. And most OS these days have not Dx11 preinstalled anymore to begin with.
Good luck!
Oh, one more thing - after you used DDU , I recommend you apply this

Also what is the health of the drive you're running the game on? It seems 102% out of all users never mentions this.
this being said, heres a link from an indian man who actually helped me stop the crashes for good. hope it works out for you and good hunting

So I'm giving up, like all of my others game works wells, so I'll play something else
That's a shame because i'm a big MH fan !
Thanks again for all your answers !
