What are the odds that the switch skills make it to wilds?
Even if they aren't named switch skills anymore. I just dont know enough of monster hunters history to know if they normally bring in gimmicks and then abandon them for the next game.

I just like things like rage slash and guard tackle for the GS and think it'd be cool if those sorts of options were kept for the next one

One is intrinsically linked to the other. Wirebugs are nothing but a cooldown system which is everything but neat. It's incredibly boring and overused. How do you do that without some sort of cooldown?
I feel like the cool down was way to short for almost all of the silk bug skill because you could keep spamming a lot of thoses moves in a incredibly short time frame.
You sound almost as bad as the people who say wire bugs are free dodging

Cooldowns in general are short for almost all of the millions of action rpgs that use it. It doesn't change anything I said.
I'm not gonna convince any of you. I already made my mind and that's what matters for me.
Did i try to convince you of anything I wasn't even responding you, I ask a question earlier and you never responded to that question.

What saying I felt like the cooldown for silk bug skills felt to short is wrong because you could basically spam them lol it's called an opinion hell I don't even bother using them anymore because I felt like they made the game to easy.

My answer to you question is that GU started all this. The mechanic to activate the skill is slightly better but literally everything is better than time cooldown. It's not like ,,what if it was like GU" no, I don't want that either.

To me, at least so far (we need to see more of Wilds), there are 2 types of MH games. The next one after Wilds will, hopefully (because again I don't want Wilds to be that game) expand on Switch Skills. Probably way more than you can possibly imagine.

But the Switch skills don't even effect you, you simply don't use them if you don't like them that's it, there litterlly just more options to the player that's all.
So what your saying is your want less options with your game and no innovation what so ever?
Then I guess you better take Wilds off your wish list and all future MH game's from here on out because MH has always been innovating and will continue to keep innovating this is straight up what MH has always done for over a decade now.

Don't use if you don't like it is a ♥♥♥♥♥ argument. Game mechanics are there to be used. I already explained your question here. If the series goes in a direction I don't like anymore I'm out.

Then why are you still playing MH because the series has been going down this route for like a decade at this point and yes the Switch skill can be completely ignored entirely and it'l have no effect what so ever on your gameplay there 100% optional to use.
I'll say it again take Wilds off your wishlist and forget MH even exist because this is the route these game's are going just like they've been doing for a decade at this point.
Like your straight up wanting a game with less options and less content to keep you playing even if that content is 100% optional like WTF is wrong with you if you hate these game's that much go play the old game's because the last few game's in the last decade have clearly not been for you and the future game's clearly aren't for you either.

You didn't start anything there's just this weird guy that doesn't want anything to change and wants a game with no innovation and no optional play styles lol

And all I wanted was moves we can change, like the Shoulder>GS block tackle or the Lance charge>Lance shield charge...
"Ultimate" moves are really personal preference, but GenU, like I was saying, did a better job...thats...thats literally all I was saying...

Silkbind moves, I understand.
Switch skills, where you can swap moves, is what I would believe most would want.
If you're having trouble understanding, just continue playing World and the older games

From my understanding they don't want any of that even if it's 100% optional so yea they seem to just be a very unreasonable person.

I think you're the one who's having trouble understanding I don't like swapping moves and/or adding moves I can't organically use when I want at all. I thought I made myself very clear but hey, English isn't my native language so I might've messed up somewhere.

I know the pain because it's happened to my main weapon in Rise.

You wouldnt by chance be an insect glaive user who lost the pile driver attack to a switch skill would you? Cause i noticed it used to be stock standard with the glaive before but now its locked behind having a wirebug

Oh, so you want them all "at the same time" rather than "change it up", gotcha.
Thats waaaaaaaaay to many keys to click then.
Like, L2+X=Rise's "Double Slash" draw attack and then X=regular draw attacks.
Or L2+R2+X+Y=Lance's shield charge and R2+X+Y=Lance's regular charge attack...
Yeah, sounds too complicated, I'd prefer interchangeable

Imagine having to click all the keys just to do the ultimate moves of the weapons, like Helm Breaker for LS or TCS for GS or PR for SnS...
