"because we obviously dont know what area toaster likes to hang out in, better hunt down their old footprints instead of idk following the storms that always seem to follow elders everywhere or maybe even making use of info we have on them from literally every other previous generation of hunters to idk how about ambushing the fire and coal-chewing monster in the fire area thats full of coal or something ,no no no we gotta grab those TRAACKS UwU" -Some researcher, probably
This seems to be what Inari wants, to HUNT a monster.
What I implied, bu removing scoutflies and just leaving footprints, was something that should be implemented so Inari can "immerse" his/herself into the "hunting" part of the game.
Heck, was there a mod for this?
Listen mate. I get it. I was one of the guys who hated the fact that cool drinks and hot drinks were gone. But then I played through the game and realized, those things were not really important and actually subtracted from the smooth gameplay for the sake of "immersion". Play the full game once it releases, and then see if the whole tracking the monster was really important to you or not.
