Also, can you imagine how many people would be complaining about the graphics of GU based on all the people complaining here about Rise's graphics.
Rise is the new game that just released and doesn’t even have its MR expansion yet.
There are plenty of people on PC who don't own a switch who like difficult games and so I think GU would get an audience. Yes, you will get the graphics fiends complaining, but they always complain ... who cares so long as your game turns a profit and makes people happy. Those who complain will complain for a week and move on to whatever next triggers their sensitive and fragile state...
I really hope that Sunbreak does improve on Rise a lot. Seems like Rise was originally intended to be Switch Exclusive and then plans changed in development which ultimately lead to an unfinished product being released.
I own both 4U and Rise on Switch and World on PC. I like them all but 4U just has this charm to it that World and Rise don't quite have. There's so many systems, things to do (some of which are annoying but eh), and monsters. If they re textured it and put some work into it, I'd buy it again.
As stated already, there's always emulation but while emulation can be used to upscale a game and improve fps, you lack being able to play the game in a large online community. This is something that I missed out on with 4U since I did not get it on release.
Just bootup GU if you want to play GU.
The only thing that makes older MH games "difficult" is the forced multiplayer scaling.
Don't get me wrong, I got MHGU on my Switch and enjoyed it; i just found annoying how the game was forcing me to match with randoms. I don't like that at all, so I ended up doing all the Hub and Pub key quests all by myself. So the difficult thing about it was the fact that I had to solo monsters scaled for 4 players.
well, one year delay means the hype is kind gone...
aww... sorry.
Honestly tho, the problem is that most Japanese developers do a terrible job on the PC platform.
