Implementing monsters from previous installments into new crafted levels and gameplay is the best way to go. I do not mind revisiting old regions storywise, but if anything it should be a step forward with new designs.
If Capcom wants to make fans happy for "cheap" though, they could offer the old games via an emulator program like as seen with the Nintendo Switch having old console emulators running games greatly.
I just can't see them porting last gen games with how well World sell & attracted many new hunters.
